"Sjömarken School is an F-6 school with an after school club. We have 50 employees who work at the school with around 372 pupils. They are distributed into 17 groups, as well as the after school club with 3 departments. The school was built with environmentaly friendly material in 1999.

We are the hearts, the brains and the hands house (a caring, friendly place providing a service to others). In our purpose built premises, the pupils, parents and staff work together to provide the best school possible. The staff are committed and well-educated and have the childrens best in mind at all times.

Parent participation, for us, is a necessity and we have a committee that works well. We are a school that is always developing and we have many projects in progress. 'To become a reading school' is a project which we obtained a grant for."
